POSTCARD: Altena Castle (Burg Altena), the home to the world's first youth hostel, is a Medieval hill castle in the town of Altena in western Germany built by Counts of Berg in the early 12th century - started in 1108 and was the seat of the House of Marck.

STAMPS: The 2005 Aster flower at 50¢  and the 25¢ stamp issued 2008  featuring Gartennelke flower.
