POSTCARD: Poland's seventh-largest city of Szczecin is the capital of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship located on the Oder River, near Baltic Sea. The city was established in 8th century and the administrative & industrial center of Polish Western Pomerania. The major seaport of Poland is also found in the city with Port of Szczecin handles 10 millions ton of cargo yearly. Szczecin has three big shipyards.
