POSTCARD: Saint Isaac's Cathedral is the largest Russian Orthodox cathedral in Saint Petersburg, Russia. The cathedral is dedicated to Saint Isaac of Dalmatia, built from 1818 until 1858. The cathedral's main dome rises 101.5 metres (333 ft) and is plated with pure gold and decorated with twelve statues of angels.
