Philippine Marine Biodiversity Official First Day Cover 
The Philippine Marine Biodiversity Stamp is a triangle-shaped stamps of the Philippines issued by PhilPost inline with its participation in the "Thailand 2013 World Stamp Exhibition" held in Bangkok, Thailand last August 2 until August 14, 2013. The stamp features eight marine species found in the in the country: the Lemon Goby, Dragon Wrasse, Spotted Puffer, the three-spot Angelfish, the white-tailed Damselfish, the Orange Sea Perch, the Lemonpeel Angelfish, and the electric-blue Damsel.

The Philippines are composed of many different islands. I am not surprised that sea-life is a prominent theme among those who live there. How many islands make up the Philippines, again?

Hi james! Philippines has more than 7,100+ islands. Yes, that's more than 7,100 with hundreds different languages/dialects and culture. and oh, thousands of beautiful islands to visit. :)
