POSTCARD: Valparaíso, often referred to as simply Valpo, is a port city located approximately 120km from Santiago de Chile on Chile’s Pacific coast. It’s known for its bohemian culture, colorful clifftop houses and beautiful seaside views. Valparaíso is the capital of Chile’s second most populated administrative region and the headquarters of country’s legislative branch, the National Congress of Chile. It is considered to one of the major stopover for ships traversing between Atlantic & Pacific crossing through the Straits of Magellan.
