POSTCARD: Features an early winter with the 13 Peaks of Mainri Snow Mountain. Meili Xue Shan (Mainri Snow Mountain) is mountain range in China’s Yunnan province (Diqing Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture of Yunnan) bounded by the Salween & Mekong River. The highest peak, Kawagebo is 6,740 metres above sea level & considered as the top of the eight sacred mountains of Tibetan Buddhism. 

STAMPS: (1) Hainan Special Economic Zone stamp issued in 1998 at 150分, (2) a 2012 New Year’s Greeting special issue stamp at 1.20 元, (3) a stamp featuring Chinese Hwamei Garrulax canorus issued in 2011 at 1.20 元, and (4) a stamp featuring flowers at 60分.
