POSTCARD: Ubudiah Mosque (Masjid Ubudiah) is one of the most beautiful mosques in Malaysia located in the royal town of Kuala Kangsar, Perak. Built in 1917 during the reign of the 28th Sultan of Perak, Sultan Idris Murshidul'adzam Shah and officially opened in 1977, this majectic mosque with its golden dome and minarets is under the care and administration of Perak Islamic Council.

STAMPS: The 2005 Birds of Malaysia series, the first stamp at 20 sen features Spotted Dove (Tekukur, Streptopelia chinensis) and the other one is Ochraceous Bulbul (Merbah Beringin, Alophoixus ochraceous) at 30 sen.

I've seen some pretty interesting mosques when I was in the middle east. There was a mosque on one of the bases I was on, but we Marines were not allowed to enter.
