POSTCARD: Prague (Praha), “the City of a Hundred Spires,” is the capital & largest city of the Czech Republic is bisected by the Vltava River. It is the historical capital of the Kingdom of Bohemia and was an important city to the Habsburg Monarchy and its Austro-Hungarian Empire.

The city is known for its Old Town Square with the Prague medieval astronomical clock, the heart of its historic core with colorful baroque buildings and Gothic churches. Other well-known cultural attractions include the Prague Castle, Charles Bridge w/ lined statues of Catholic saints, the Jewish Quarter and Petřín hill and Vyšehrad.
