POSTCARD: The card features a lighthouse at the dam in front of the waters of the port of Volgodonsk Tsimlyansk (Tsimlyanskoye) Reservoir in Rostov Oblast, Russia.

Tsimlyansk Reservoir is an artificial lake on the Don River in the territories of Rostov & Volgograd Oblasts, Russia. It is one of the largest in Russia providing power & irrigation to the Rostov and Volgograd regions. The reservoir was completed in 1952 that resulted in strong local industrial growth.
