POSTCARD: Cornwall is a ceremonial county on England’s south west tip, bordered by Celtic Sea, English Channel, Devon and River Tamar. It is the 9th largest county in the United Kingdom covering an area of 1,376 square / mile and forms a peninsula encompassing wild moorland & hundreds of sandy beaches, culminating at the promontory Land’s End. The highest point of the county is Brown Willy found on the Bodmin Moor at 420m above sea level. 

Cornwall is the 40th most populated and 41st most densely county of the 47 counties in the UK with a population of 536,000 as of 2011. It is administered by unitary authority - Cornwall Council since 2009. The administrative center of Cornwall is the city of Truro.
