POSTCARD: The card features a St. Bernard family – the parent with the iconic barrel & their four pups. St. Bernard is a large working breed of dog originated from the Alps in Switzerland & Italy and named after Italian monk Bernard of Menthon.
STAMPS: (1) A Flora / Agriculture & Food self-adhesive stamp with Cereals – Oats (Grains) subject at 0.50 CHF issued in September 2008, and (2) a 2012 Flora (flowers / vegetables) stamp showing Vegetable Blossoms – Tomato issued at 1.40 CHF.
